He has a great understanding of the obstacles which international learners encounter and his way of explaining certain concepts in Spanish is just great! Until now I've had a couple of individual in-person classes for learning Spanish with Ricardo and intend to continue. Our classes are very friendly, informal, conversation-focused, and flexible in terms of schedule but also the content. Since I learn Spanish also from other sources, it is very helpful to be able to customise the content that we cover with Ricardo to supplement my other sources, or to ask him concrete questions from other contexts. If I don't have anything particular to discuss, Ricardo suggests the content or exercises to do, after adapting very fast to my level of Spanish. I also like that Ricardo has this space near the city centre where the classes can be held in person. I would definitely recommend Ricardo as an easygoing Spanish teacher.

Ricardo is a great teacher! I learned more with Ricardo in the first month than I did with Duolingo for 2 years. He is able to customize the lessons to what you want to do, what you need to learn, and where your weaknesses are. I am also able to tell him what things I want to learn and he customizes the lesson accordingly. Ricardo thinks of great and creative exercises that are incredibly helpful. He uses entertaining stories and exercises to make the class engaging and fun. Before I took Ricardo's class, I knew very little spanish. After taking Ricardo's classes, I went to Guatemala and was able to have very full and long conversations with strangers and eat, shop, and do whatever I needed to all in Spanish. It even helped me in a scary situation in which I needed to know spanish. I am so grateful for Ricardo's class and the way he has been able to teach. It has changed my life for the better.

My name is Ricardo, a certified Spanish teacher from Bolivia, with 2 years of experience.

Teaching Spanish has allowed me to discover many countries and meet many people, it is something that I am passionate about and I love it. Always looking for new and fun ways for my students to practice and learn Spanish.
I teach on 2 platforms, Italki and Preply, additionally I teach groups on two NGOs, one from Miami and another in Europe.
